There is much I can say I've learned so far in this life as well but I can say this with humility and respect, I can fully say that I lack a lot yet to learn.
All this thinking comes to me because I still can not fully understand much of the behavior that is supposed to have human beings with us themselves. On the one hand we want to be the best people in the world and we are literally on the other slowly annihilate in the form of neglect, lack of awareness (from many types of view) among other issues that merit further analysis.

Mike Patton: Mondo Cane (the extreme of the extreme)

This post has been something like 4 years late, why do I say? Because very little less than 4 years, saw what until then was the first video that leaked from the first presentation of a solo project of Mike Patton: Mondo Cane .
The old post reveals what until then I knew: nothing. But outside of that reflects the tremendous impression I got to see one of the artists I admire do something so far from what we are accustomed. Today, 4 years later, much that has been seen, heard and felt from Mondo Cane and so I claimed responsibility for making the post it deserves.
With Mondo Cane, Mike Patton surprised again this time doing a project apparently healthy but which has managed to give a personal touch. Away from all previously performed by him and where he has been involved projects, Mondo Cane is just Mike Patton singing in (perfect) Italian, Italian pop songs of the 50 and 60. Patton wanted course do it big, meet with various musicians from the nation of the boot, all in the name of Mondo Cane give an authentic sound.
Mondo Cane's debut was in a public concert in May 2007 at the Teatro Rossini in Lugo in Italy, performing two concerts days later in Modena and Parma, accompanied by an orchestra of 30 musicians camera. Immediately there arose a great expectation not only to see a character like Mike Patton to do something, but also to see that work embodied in a studio album. After that came the meeting with Faith No More ( in which if vi) and when it looked like Mondo Cane would be buried or at least stalled a while, we were surprised with the highly anticipated studio work, the which, although it reflects very little of what live is experienced with this project (the studio album has 11 tracks while the live bootlegs tend to bring 22 tracks on average), paid the debt he owed to us fans.
Mondo Cane Patton features a full vocal and histrionic powers, through the usual episodes of madness ( "Black Urlo" ), true romantic passages ( "Dio come ti amo , " Il Cielo in una Stanza "), tributes to the subjects of admiration (as Ennio Morricone , versioning with the brilliant "Deep Down" and the enigmatic "O Venezia ) feasts sound more typical of a jukebox in a bar Italian (" L'uomo Che Non Sapeva Amare ", " Lontano, Lontano " or " Sole Malato ") to musical gems (" Ore d'amore " , "Canzone" ).
Of course I did with what was appearing bootleg, but Amsterdam was definitely the one who has not left my playlist since its inception, apart from that I got the record on video and DVD could make me a custom for me, except that although I already had downloaded the album (and even the original covers) commission in one of my shopping at Amazon original disk, which I treasure very carefully both its design and its anecdotal value. Bin Laden dies, "we celebrate?

As I write this, I have CNN in the background and I heard the news that many as I really never expected to arrive : Osama Bin Laden is dead.

Everyone knows who was Bin Laden, would that have been literally off the planet or at least completely disconnected for not having ever heard his name and what he did, apart from the history that surrounds her life, be a millionaire Arabic, To lead a crusade against the most powerful nation in the world (military and economically speaking at least).

Many doubt everything that has surrounded the history of this man now dies in a military operation in Pakistan, not because we believe in conspiracy theories as many Americans do, but because deep down we know that history always written the winners and in this case I think is much more that really will not know (like Bin Laden connections with the CIA and its role in the war in Afghanistan) that the truth will be written.

Are we safer now that Bin Laden died? I say no, and while another conflict with the Arab world is in full swing these days (Libya) with another Arab leader as much or more mad than Bin Laden (Gaddafi) this just be another news story, such as the death of Saddam Hussein also brought peace to the region.
