Gandhi in hell

I recently found myself reading a newspaper article that told the story of a in a small church pastor, who publicly support the concept that there really is no hell and that their very existence would make it look like a god to be vindictive and without goodness, I began to think again about the contradictions that the church has Catholic to get their message in a clear and concise, so that people with a minimum of reason is to show at least questionable to believe only by doing so, without doubt what is presented as the truth.
In the article mentioned that a Catholic art exhibition, is showing a painting containing a quote from Mahatma Gandhi , and had a kind of note saying that although he agreed with the above, Gandhi probably was in hell.
That got me thinking about the very fact of salvation according to Catholic beliefs. Really Gandhi would be in hell ?, Coloquémonos in context to better reflect on this statement.
Mahatma Gandhi was no saint, as none of us is, but if history has left a legacy important to consider not as someone remarkable historically speaking, and in the best sense of the concept. His non-violent form of protest has been praised by many people since I get to England to colonize India, and in general the image has always been a symbol of peaceful resistance, and someone kindly kind. I ask again, would you really Gandhi in hell?
Of course, Gandhi was not Christian or Catholic, so that the ecclesiastical concept of heaven and hell just would not be in heaven but a pan of burning in hell.
To illustrate better than I thought people with deeply rooted religious convictions, see forums Catholics / Christians in search of answers, I was greatly surprised to find forums with the whole topic. Even more surprising was the answers I found by reading to people who gave evasive answers but conclusive "We would like to think that if you are in heaven, but nobody is who to know and only God would have the gift to decide who enters heaven and who ", others flatly refused to change the idea of \u200b\u200ba non-Catholic in the sky, citing the widely used verse John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but through Me" written in the Bible as a direct quote of Jesus Christ. Others were more reluctant to change their answers, pointing out that not all who are different religions will automatically go to hell, that was absurd.
All this made to remember my childhood, where my neighbors Witnesses gave us those books (well done must be said) in which she saw children playing with lions and snakes, with apocalyptic images of people dying in earthquakes and similar disasters for allegedly denying god. I vividly remember that I saw these pictures and in my childish mind I was wondering if me being a religion and my parents for another chance would I save myself and not them? Will miss you in paradise where I do come?
The topic is very extensive and goes a long debate, but at least I am comforted to know that fewer people have backward thoughts in which there is no room for doubts or conclusions other than those dictated by the church. Http://www.to2blogs.com/ping/xmlrpc/b1f2a68e130e3709104a087640cca2816d358aca
